Classroom Structure
The class is structure for open learning and open thought. Lessons are designed to make you think and apply your thinking to help solve problems and learn new math concepts. You will need to be prepare to participate in class by working with a partner to help find strategies to solve complex math problems. You will also need to be ready to present your groups strategy as well as solution to the class so that we can all learn from how you solved the problem. Yes, we all want to learn from you!
The assessments for each unit and sub units are challenging. You will need to be able to apply your knowledge from class, homework, and previous math courses to be successful. Don't stress and worry because class is designed for you to be successful if you are meeting the expectations and completing your assignments.

Classroom Expectations
- Respect everyone at all times.
- Being on time is being late, so be early to be on time.
- Have your materials ready for class before the tardy bell rings.
